We all know Sephora, Ulta and BlueMercury are a beauty mavens Shangri-La, but you can also nab some pretty amazing makeup and skincare products at other unexpected retailers.

You wouldn’t expect places like Anthropologie,  Trader Joe’s, Paper Source or Bed Bath & Beyond to be beauty destinations but they do carry some amazing things. Check out why I love these unexpected retailers for beauty products

Unexpected places to find great beauty products.

Trader Joe’s is know for their for their low cost foods but don’t pass up some major skincare moments. Their cold press coconut oil is great for use in hair and on the body. Plus try their amazing Rose Water Facial Toner.

I could spend hours in a Paper Source looking at all the adorable trinkets. Next time your need a birthday card, check out their selection of bath bombs, glittery makeup bags, reusable organic bamboo cotton rounds and more.

My secret place to shop for inexpensive but high quality false eyelashes is Bed Bath and Beyond! Most of these stores have a Harmon Face Values section which includes an amazing array of lashes from brands like Ardell and Kiss. Grab a jade roller, and some toilet paper while you are there and don’t forget that 20% coupon!

On another note, beware of buying discounted beauty items at places like TJ Maxx as they may not be safe. While some items are just last season shades or discontinued products, they could also be expired or damaged  items that you do not want to use on your face, body or hair. Buyers be ware of abnormally low costing products you might find at a discount store as they could contain harmful ingredients
